Today, we cover Republicans and Democrats joining forces in opposition against the right to bear arms with the passage of a new red flag gun confiscation act. (Wait until you hear the Republicans’ excuse for co-signing the legislation.) Next, we cover Reps. Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Massie joining forces in opposition against funding Israel’s Iron Dome—but for very different reasons. Then, Amanda and Maurice debate joining forces with BLM in opposition of New York’s vaccine passports; and ask why politicians only care about empowering minorities when they’re voting to empower politicians. Finally, we end with a light item: In 2017, the CIA considered assassinating and/or kidnapping Julian Assange as well as changing the definition of a ‘journalist’ so that they could prosecute Glenn Greenwald!
