Then we discuss the Biden administration’s pivot on COVID-19, along with Rochelle ‘Speaking in a Personal Capacity’ Walensky’s admission that PCR tests—which are being used to sideline workers and shutter schools as we speak—can be positive for up to 12 weeks post-infection. In order to illustrate the devastating consequences of relying on PCR-determined case rates to make academic and economic decisions, Amanda and Maurice review UCLA’s woefully misguided ‘decision matrix,’ which will likely force its 97% vaccinated student body in front of their screens for the next quarter.
