Maurice finds fresh evidence that what’s really needed is an anarchist confederation. Amanda is clearly a neocon who believes in the power of nuclear weapons and discourse ethics. The Supreme Court has ruled that the federal government can’t tell private sector employees what to put in their bodies—unless that private sector receives a lot of federal funding. What does that say about our medical autonomy in a hypothetical Medicare for All utopia? And why does Maurice have a problem with the Court’s OSHA ruling? Next, Jon Ossoff and Josh Hawley have both introduced legislation to ban Congressional members and their families from trading stocks. Amanda explains why both bills would create new problems by ignoring existing ones.

In order to illustrate the devastating consequences of relying on PCR-determined case rates to make academic and economic decisions, Amanda and Maurice review UCLA’s woefully misguided ‘decision matrix,’ which will likely force its 97% vaccinated student body in front of their screens for the next quarter.
